We both know the above is not true, so why say it. I have read Edward
Gibbon's "Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire" and Arnold Toynbee's "A
Study of History." As a matter of fact, I read them when I was about 15
years old. What were you doing when you were 15 years old I wonder?

What was I doing at 15? Most likely what the majority of normal 15 year
olds were doing, trying to figure out what girls were, making big plans of
what kind of car I wanted when turning 16, but most likely would not get,
staying in physical condition for a future NFL career that never
happened, trying to get through school, and lots of things you and Mike
never experienced.
Ah Ha! Just as I suspected. While I was improving my mind and spirit, you
were heavily into matters of the groin. That is why today I am Great and you
are a nothing but a disgustingly normal person. My Greatness is not for the
likes of you who spent a normal boyhood instead of immersing yourself in the
works of Gibbon and Toynbee like I did.
Further, I think I became a Saint by the age of 19 when a I realized your
kind of normalcy was altogether beneath me. Instead I embarked on a road of
Great Holiness and became a Great Saint by the time I was 21. Yea - and I
have never looked back!
You, sir, have my pity. Instead of pursuing matters of the groin you should
have pursued matters of the mind and of the spirit like me. If you had, you
would not today be down in the dumps with the likes of Curtiss and his
confounded advocacy of mountain biking, but you would be in the celestial
regions with Ed Dolan the Great, aka Saint Edward the Great, contemplating
nothing but hiking trails forever devoid of mountain bikes. You of course
will never know what you have missed. Those mired in the mud of normalcy
never do.
My Greatness is not for the likes of you (or did I already say that once or
twice before).
