    Yes.

You should already know that Dr. Atkins didn't
want people metering out certain foods in their diet (meat, cheese,
eggs, low-carb foods), particularly in the early phases of the

    diet.

In truth, Dr. Atkins is dead so his wants are irrelevant here.

    <shrug>

You used Dr. Atkins' diet as an example, not me. His "wants" are all
in the 2002 edition of his book, which was my basis for answering your
question in the way I did.

"I am wiser than this man; it is likely that neither of us knows
anything worthwhile, but he thinks he knows something when he does not,
whereas when I do not know, neither do I think I know; so I am likely
to be wiser than he to this small extent, that I do not think I know
what I do not know." Plato - (Apology 21d)

    The two pound diet.

Is that the same as the 2PD-OMER Approach?

    Yes.

Wrong. Who should know better here, you or the inventor of the 2PD-OMER
    Approach ?

(No need to answer this rhetorical question where the answer is
automatically going to be the inventor of the 2PD-OMER Approach).

    Q.E.D.

Consider yourself vanquished by the truth, which is absolute:

    http://makeashorterlink.com/?P2264129A

The way to the truth is straight and narrow:

    http://makeashorterlink.com/?A2642108A

You will remain in my prayers, dear Ernst whom I love, in Christ's holy
    name.

May you reject your pride and accept Him as your personal Lord and
Savior, someday, so that you too will have eternal life and the
fascinating riches of His everlasting kingdom.

    Here's how:

    http://makeashorterlink.com/?I22222129

Please note that God truly made this special link describing that He is
the great "I am" and that His message is as simple as the number 2 which
is a number between 1 to 9 and reminds us of His 2 commandments, the 2
arms of the cross, the 2nd part of the Trinity, the 2 finger sign of the
Prince of Peace [who remains *V*ictorious over death and satan], and the
2PD-OMER Approach. Let it not ever be written that Christ did not make
His presence known here on Usenet :-)

Also, note that Exodus 16:16 continues to remind us that 16 oz plus 16
oz makes 2 pounds, which is "a certain measure of weight," which is what
    "omer" literally means in Hebrew.

Enter the 2PD-OMER Approach, which can "cure" metabolic syndrome (MetS)
thereby bringing this thread back on topic for these NGs :-)

Anyways, as the diet inventor, it's your right to have the ultimate

Well I think I'll oblige myself anyways.

As I showed, it is not the Atkins diet, either.

Assuming things is how people survive from day to day. I assume if I
excercise, I will be healthier. I assume if I buckle my seatbelt, I
will increase my relative safety. I assume if I were to open my mouth
and inhale water while swimming in a pool, I would drown.

It has nothing to do with spiritual "truths."

Assumptions are even how language works. For example, when you speak,
I assume you mean what you are saying. When you don't, I assume it is
because of a deep-seated need for intellectual dishonesty.

Consider yourself vanquished by the cold light of reason, oh Andrew,
    troll whom I love.
