Well, that's not the exact verbiage I'd have used.
But I second the emotion.

My doctor says that I have a hyperbole disorder, or that I have a
fetish for grand gestures. Something like that anyway.
It should come as a shock that I like broad comedy and have a couple
of kids in a performing arts school.

It does sound a bit fishy, though. The way the press release sounds,
he was doing a horrible job or embezzling money...or maybe that's
USAC's intention. Maybe he was doing too good a job, or perhaps Gerard
was tired of fighting she uphill battle. Seems to me that Steve
Johnson's immediate appointment sounds fishy too. It didn't say
anything about it being interim.
All that said, in my book it is business as usual in CO. There's
certainly no transparency there. And all this happened on the same day
Delay dropped, too. Just a coincidence?
Probably.

OK, so should have read Velonews. I pulled this off
it:http://www.velonews.com/news/fea/9689.0.html
I hate to sound skeptical, but who fires a dude "for moving USA Cycling
in a positive direction over the past four years." Again, I think
Johnson's immeditate appointment means somebody wants more control;
perhaps Jim O. Maybe Decanio's got some leads on his Stolen
Underground.
Well, expect your license fees to go up again next year, perhaps to pay
a severence package.;~}

Hey Chris I hope that Gerard takes their ass to hell and back in court
for "dismissal without grounds" and collects a major settlement, or at
least unemployment.
I'm totally disgusted.

Yes, but won't our fees go up?
