I had my milk container (Hoods comes in those was 1/2 gallon containers)
on the countertop as well as my lunch. I was going to cook my frozen low
fat/carb lunch in the microwave. Weeeellll... I put my lunch in the
fridge and the milk in the microwave. I punched in 8 minutes on high and
went outside to water a couple of potted plants. When I got back in.

OMG! ROTFLMAO! At least this wasn't another injury, but I can just about
imagine what kind of mess it made. Poor you having that to clean up!
Well, you need a laugh, and I can give you one. A long time back I posted
about a kitchen disaster, but you might not have seen it...
In my first apartment I had all built in appliances but very little counter
space. One Sunday I had company over for brunch. I served freshly baked
waffles, bacon and sausage, freshly-squeezed orange juice, and coffee with
a pitcher of cream. Brunch was over and everyone was in the livingroom. I
decided to clear the table and begin a little cleanup. The skillet from
cooking the bacon and sausage was still on the cooktop. The Pyrex double-
bowl vacuum coffee maker was still on one of the burners. I had used the
waffle iron on a clear area of the cooktop and it was still there. I
brought in the pitcher of remaining orange juice and the half full cream
pitcher. Also there was a pitcher with the remaining waffle batter.
Everything all nice and neat in one spot. The waffle iron had removable
grids and I decided to remove them. Without giving it a thought I decided
to remove the bottom grid first. When I did, the top heavy waffle iron
fell into the vacuum pot breaking it, which fell into the grease in the
skillet. Trying to catch the waffle iron, I knocked the juice pitcher over
onto the cream pitcher, which broke both of them. Furious, I picked up the
batter pitcher and threw it down on the stove top. End result...grease,
juice, cream, batter, and broken glass all over the GD kitchen! There was
even batter and juice on the ceiling, not to mention all that mess dripping
down into the cooktop. I just wanted to run away!
