Absolutely, tried everything I could think of.
Like I said, it's been happening for 3+ years now. There is no pain,
but I call it a twitch because it feels like my hamstring suddenly just
twitches with each stride, getting worse and worse. I've tried
everything I could think of.
I was seeing a chiropractor (about 3 times) who specializes in distance
running, and triathletes, and he found my ITB, Soaz and piriformis
muscles were tight, so tight they were painful, but even after he
worked on them over several visits, the twitch never went away. He'd
watch me walk, but had no treadmill, so I always felt that he wasn't
really able to see it.
Any ideas?

Any ideas? Not really, since haven't clue about your "twitching"
problem. 🙂 But I've had acute and chronic ham problems
(tears, knots, tightness, soreness, sciatica, etc.)OTOH it wouldn't hurt to try massage, rolling your hams
_and_ quads (use tennis balls, etc.), or try a stick.
Each will loosen and stretch the muscles, work out
knots, break up scar tissue, promote healing, remove
lactic acid, and prevent soreness. You can ask others about rolling or massage. I prefer
sticks:http://www.stretching.com/products/bodytools.asp

Any ideas?BTW, might also try a good sports therapist.
Possible it's nerve/signal malfunction.Maybe E-stim (electrical stimulation) therapy...

Any ideas? If Roger were a real Dr, he'd recommend a chiropractor.

Electro-shock therapy will work.

I have tried a chiropractor, tried electric stim, tried not running for
a while...I'm ready to pull my hair out, since it's taken something I
love so much and turned it into something that is a source of stress...
any more ideas, anyone?? -
