state/community colleges and the local schools, to say nothing of the

the art world here is very, very healthy indeed.

No kidding, I am (very) aware of it. That said, I stand with the majority of
Americans who oppose the gay lifestyle, but many of us probably work with
gays everyday and don't even know it. It's transparent and actually I like
it that way. I would rather not know if someone is gay. That's just my
preference.

Sonarrat, there may be some impressive universities, with some OK
galleries and museums, but SF hasn't come up with much of interest
since the performance stuff of the 70's (linda montano and the like).
It's an OK place to study/show, but far from important. The art world
is really nothing more than an 'art village', and SF isn't much more
than a back alley in said village.
