I always carry a bag of snakes in my pocket, and if I haven't
eaten them by the end of the ride, I cram 'em in afterwards.

And the winner is .... snakes (well squirms in my case). Went through my
normal eating and drinking routine today but with the one change that I
ate half a packet of snakes on the ride and the other half as soon as I
got home. The result has been quite amazing. My legs are tired but I
feel fine, nothing like the way I have been feeling (especially after a
late night). The only problem with squirms is that they are so sour I
had to keep checking I had powerade in the bottle, couldn't taste it
    anymore. Thanks Carl.

That's right, Carl gets all the credit around here.

Oh and thanks to you too Tam. 😉 Don't get a big head about but you're
one of the few people on here I actually take notice of when it comes to
    food/injury and tri related questions.

    😄 Thanks, dude!

You know, hippy even listened to me once, and used Staminade. Although
Carl will probably get the credit for that too... hahaha!

I have about 5 or 6 boxes of (out of date!) bags of snakes -
if you're in Melb you can have a box for free 🙂

Come on Carl, make an appearance on BR52 and you can supply us all with
out of date snakes (how can snakes go off?)

They go very crunchy. I'm racing on Saturday and motorpacing on
Sunday, so can't do the BR as well, my appologies 🙂
