Yes, but bear in mind that it's all made by Nestle.

Yes, but bear in mind that it's all made by Nestle.

What does this tubed condensed milk look like? Are the tubes plastic?

Plastic tubes, about the same size as a tube of tomato paste i.e.
probably about 6 inches long. I think it only made a return to the
shelves within the last 12 months or so: I remember someone posting
about it on here.

The point being that although there's nowt wrong with baby foods or
bottle feeding with formula milk, aggressive marketing and 'free' gifts
are not helpful in areas where clean water is unavailable for making up
the feeds. Mothers in such places are actively encouraged to use
products ("here, try some of this, it's a free gift for you"😉 and then
when it's too late to revert to natural milk the 'free' gifts dry up,
causing ridiculous amounts of money to be spent by the mothers. Since
the required clean water doesn't exist most of the time, you can
doubtless imagine the problems these things can cause. Baby Milk Action
are /not/ anti-formula feeds - they accept that for some mothers breast
feeding is not an option (it wasn't an option for me, either); however
they /are/ against choice being effectively being removed from the most
vulnerable people in the poorest of places with the poorest of medical
and educational facilities.

Try using Bird's custard. Not as bad as it sounds. Old KIMM trick. Have seen
it done using tomato soup, but that wasn't too much of a success!
