  1. Rice, oatbran, V8, strawberries, and apples are not low carb.

What was the turkey wrapped in? That might not have been low carb either.

    Oh my!
We actually agreed on something. ;-)
You named everything I did plus one more...

AFAIK, "wraps" are usually done with flour tortiallas which are not low
carb, but the amount is usually insignificant if you behave yourself the
    rest of the day......

The rest of the items are far worse. There are a few bottles of low
sodium V8 in the pantry right now. I re-read the labels this morning and
decided they are going to stay in the pantry for quite a while.....

Might use them for a sauce or marinade at a later date, but not right
    now.

It's currently set with a 24 hour dump.

I can change that if you'd like? ;-)

  5. Go ahead and leave it the way it is, especially if that means there'll be a
repeat of the histrionics from yesterday. Good comedy is rather hard to
    come by.

    It's sugar......

And sorry, but I don't consider 2g/oz to be low carb!

How many people eat just 1 oz. of strawberries?

*raises hand* I always go "Yum! Strawberries!" and then I eat a bite
of one and wonder why I used to like them, and why I keep forgetting how
    nasty they are.

<lol> I know how you feel...
Nothing worse than a bad strawberry!

That's why I grow my own when I want them.

At the grocery store, look for California strawberries and make sure
they are dark red and slightly soft.

I prefer mine with a light sprinkling of splenda, but it's going to be a
good long while until I can eat ANY of them again! :-(

Actually, I think I just don't like fruit much. I never ate it much
before low-carb. In fact, one of the things I like about low-carb is
that you don't _have_ to eat so much damn fruit. Now, every once in a
blue moon, like every few months, I get a craving for an orange or a
grapefruit, which is strange because of all the fruits I don't like, I
don't like grapefruit the most, and I don't like oranges second most.
Anyway, that is one craving I give into, because since I'm craving
something I don't even like, I figure there must be something in it my
body needs. And sure enough, once I eat a half an orange or a quarter
    grapefruit, the craving is gone.

I'm another one who's always preferred veggies to fruit.
Not that I mind fruit, just give me some asparagus over
    an apple any day.

"Fruits-n-veggies" always seem to be used as one word.
For most purposes brocolli works just fine as a favorite
fruit. Up until you mention Atkins. Then folks go
ballistic like fruit is its own food group or something.
Like eating the mandatory veggies rather than fruit is
a sin of some sort. Folks are wierd.

I don't actually dislike any fruit (I've never tried
a durian with the strong smell so I can say there
aren't any that I've tried that I dislike).

    Cool.

My wife would rather have a fruit than a veggie alost
any time, the opposite of me that way. As a result there
are always a couple of bowls of fruit in the kitchen. I
can go months ignoring them but every so often I want one.
