Im hoping you wont dissapoint me...and for some reason, dont think you
will.
I think this group is important to you, too.....More important that a pissing contest that will never be won or
lost.I could be worng.
...but, I dont think so.
Agreed?
Not a chance. And lose that silly old "I got this email" business. The
purely simple fact is that a killfile solves both your and her desperate
problem with me. I'm here because I want to be. I post things about
food, culinary principles and other stuff as I see fit. Just like
everybody. You're asking me to ignore the sort of "negative,
argumentative, humorless" stuff you've posted. I don't think so.
Your snotty posts are what prompted me to come after you. No hero with a
white hat, just don't like that smug surety and the nasty fairy tales
you feel perfectly safe in promoting. You really ought to read my posts
besides the ones for you. I posted this a few days ago:
-------------------------
It's hard to remember, but very little you see here is actually a person
speaking. Most people assume "identities" that they wouldn't dream of
asserting anywhere else. So they let their normal restraints slip and
post the most amazing things. (I stopped posting under my whole name
because I began to get so much spam. But since I sign my posts with my
first and last names and there's exactly one person on earth with my
full name... see how it is?)
Anyway, it's the newest great anarchy; the biggest free-for-all in
history. If it ever makes you want to cry or if you want to throw
something at your monitor, it's time to walk outside and watch a
hummingbird. Or a nasturtium. Or listen to the tinkling laughter of a
child being a child. Watch clouds shift and move and imagine where
they're going next and who can see them.
It's not world peace or freedom from hunger. It's not justice or
forgiveness of sin. It's just a funny game of shuffleboard where the
players sometimes try to figuratively hit each other with the sticks.
The big difference is that there are no prizes and no one wins. And no
lasting injuries except perhaps to the already crippled.

This is how I live online.
So, I'm Bob Pastorio. Who are you?
