Which parasite? And how do you know you have them?

And if you have fallen for the ads that claim that a good

    don't work as claimed.

    How do you know?

This one does, it worked for me.

    Hi Jan

No the doctor did not check for parasites nor pay attention to my
concerns of a possible gluten sensitivity. It became clear to me that
doctors treat symptoms and have little or no concern about underlying
cause. Now I am not anti-doctor by any means but this seems to be an
    issue with them.

Yep, been there, done that. I am not anti-doctor either. There are many many
good hard working doctors and God Bless them. My beef is with *organized
medicine* who has the control of what they are taught. Therein lies the big
    problem.

There are many doctors who will tell the evils of the organization and they are
appalled and will have nothing to do with it.

I searched and searching for two years and spent $20.000 to find my health
problem, and nearly died during this search. I turned to alternative medicine
and did my own research and it paid off,, otherwise I would most likely be
    dead.

Good luck to you and it the drugs don't work, find a good alternative
practitioner, don't wait, and let it keep getting worse.

No, because we know they are rarely ever there in developed societies. We
know this from thousands of daily stool specimen examinations,
    proctoscopies, colonoscopies, gastroduodenoscopies, choledochoscopies, and
other samplings which normally are able to show parasites when they are
present. We know this becasue we have public health authorities
constantly on the alert for such agents in our water and food.

If we were to find Hulda Clark's F Buskii (easily seen with the naked eye)
in a New Yorker's liver or biliary system it would get written up in medical
journals and there would be a big search to find out how on earth it got
    there from Asia.

These are facts. They may conflict with what you want to believe.
Parasites may have become a fashionable belief within alternative medicine,
taking over centre stage from Candida as the source of many ills, but that
does not change the truth one iota.

If I were a doctor, it might be kind of an issue with me if you came
in with an attitude like that.

But never mind that. A doctor would not check for parasites unless
you had some fairly unusual symptoms and nothing else checked out.
The gluten thing you can check for yourself by removing it from your
diet; if you see any dramatic effects, then either go back or find

Jan, I have ACTUAL EXPERIENCE treating patients infected with all manner
of parasites, virtually daily. I diagnose them using validated
techniques (fecal flotations, fecal smears, skin scrapings, etc...) and
treat them using validated, safe medications. None of my patients are
diagnosed using Syncrometers, applied kinesiology, or other
non-validated techniques (read: they actually DO have parasitic
infections). None of them are treated with non-validated herbal
concoctions with little to no reliable safety or efficacy data.

It is time that you give some consideration to the work of
board-certified human and veterinary parasitologists, who have dedicated
their professional lives to testing for and treating parasitic
infections, rather than listening to the mad ravings of lunatics using

Jan, the issue is HOW these parasites are "checked for".. if a physician
(or veterinarian) suspects a parasitic infection, they will perform
validated tests in order to detect the adult parasite, eggs, larvae,
etc... for example repeated fecal flotations, fecal smears, scrapings,
    the list goes on...

Many alternative practitioners use non-validated techniques to "detect"

    Jan -
Can you show studies on RANDOM persons that can show parasites?
Can you show any evidence that the majority of us are walking
around with a clinically significant parasite load. (FWIW - yes,
I have ACTUAL EXPERIENCE with intestinal parasites, having had a
few of them foud in and on me. Amazing what running around in
the Mexican boonies can do for your parasite popuulation. Also,
FWIW, they were found on the routine admittance testing and were
not giving me any problems ... that damned typhoid bacteria was.)

Hands down, the most detested test in microbiology was the "24
hour O&P" ... basically dredging through a 24 hour collection of
feces searching for parasites. The most detestable part was that
we so seldom found ANYTHING! Not an amoeba, an egg, a tapeworm
segment, nothing. As a rule, if we hadn't found it on a couple
of random samples (and if we did, they didn't get to order the
    24-hour test), it wasn't there. I can't remember any 24-hour
    testing that was positive.

    You are an excellent example.

Actually, Jan, you are a better example of a denier of real disease. You
seem to think that somatic diseases don't exist, and that any doctor who
diagnosis one is evil or brainwashed.

    Been there, done that.

Got back from a week in India with persistent mild
diarrhea, and the next week went in to check the
chance that it was something I brought back. Nope.
Cleared up on its own [1], but contrary to Jan's
lies, my doc agreed immediately that labwork was
indicated. I've seen the list of tests, and it's
a very long one. All negative.

Of course, this is another case where Jan has no
use for ACTUAL EXPERIENCE since it contradicts her
    Revealed Truth.

[1] I absolutely *love* fiery cooking, especially
southern Indian cuisine. A week plus there
just turns out to have suited me all too well.
