  1. That freaking made my week. 😄 You're on MY Christmas list!!!

    You'll appreciate this one:

While vacationing in Massachussetts, I was driving through a town with a
friend. They have a LOT of "pedestrian crossing" signs and you're required
    to yield to them.

So, here I am, Canadian plates, a bit bewildered but generally a good boy. I
come up on a cross-walk and notice someone waiting, just jamming on the
brakes in time to stop. He smiles and waves - I figure I'm doing my part as
a good embassador for my country.

No sooner than this guy gets to about my left headlight (about 10 feet in
front of me) than a Lexus from Rhode Island comes tear-assing around me and
    cuts the pedestrian off.

We both kinda shrug and smile and think, that's the end of it. I turn to my
co-pilot and say, "never a cop around when you want one," just as a very
foiyne lady-in-blue in her Crown Vic hauls it after Mr.Lexus with light bars
flashing and pulls him over. YEAH BABY!

    HIGHEST respect Sniper! 😄

On a similar note, I was driving home last night when I saw yet another
driver on their mobile phone. I try to ignore this, but they do tend to
[censored] me off. About 10 seconds later along comes a motorcycle policeman,
pulls up beside the car, knocks on the window several times (I think the
driver was trying to pretend he wasn't there) and then pulls out his little
    wee "you're getting a fine" book 🙂

    Where were you
    Sniper?

Maybe we should have some sort of incantation to summon him, sort of like
the one which makes Sheldon Brown appear from time to time on this news
group? Then again, maybe "Sniper, Sniper, Sniper" could be misconstrued as
just a general plea for someone with a high velocity rifle to take the
    miscreant out.
