    PhilMo,
While I appreciate you agreeing with my Gorilla brother, Notty made
heaps of cash racing track with some under-the-table payments from EDS.
Check into it. He made more than Navs will ever pay him.

  2. I used to represent the Collin County Community College District which
oversees the Frisco Superdrome. I am familiar with what you are saying.
However, there's no real record of just how much Marty received.
Regardless, isn't funny how when the EDS well dried-up Marty started
thinking about road racing in Europe?

Don't be lazy PhilMo - Alright, maybe you had a hard week. Here you
    go:
    http://velonews.com/news/fea/1680.0.html
Chenowth began filing invoices purportedly from outside vendors -
initially an advertising agency and later a bicycle supplier - between
$101,000 and $213,000 a year. All of that was used to supplement
Nothstein's salary. In all, Chenowth paid Nothstein more than $618,000
between February 1995 and February 1999, using compensation for
expenses that were never actually incurred.

"Track racing has been very, very good to me."

  5. DA74,

yeah, yeah, Chenowith AND his wife had their hands in that. But doesn't it
strike you as odd how they arrived at a bottom line number of $618,000 but
cannot say whether Chenowith took between $101,000 and $213,000 a year?

I'm not being lazy. OKAY I am being lazy today. But I only said that
Northstein tried to become a Euro roadie because he could make more money
racing there than here. And by that I meant legally, without embezzlement
    and its RICO ramifications.

Yes there is. He had a contract.
