It says in the Constitution that people should be allowed to worship their
God, and they must not be discriminated against for their beliefs. But
where does it say that people are allowed not to believe in God at all?!
    Where?

Do *YOU* understand what "One Nation UNDER GOD" means?

Exactly jack [censored], as it's not written into the constitution or any of
its amendments. Or the Pledge of Allegiance for that matter - it was a
    cold war era addition.

It's there now. That's what matters.

The historical evidence shows you are wrong:

Thirteen governments [of the original states] thus founded on the natural
authority of the people alone, without a pretence of miracle or mystery,
and which are destined to spread over the northern part of that whole
quarter of the globe, are a great point gained in favor of the rights of
    mankind.
    -John Adams

Let the human mind loose. It must be loose. It will be loose.
Superstition and dogmatism cannot confine it.
-John Adams, letter to his son, John Quincy Adams, November 13, 1816

I almost shudder at the thought of alluding to the most fatal example of
the abuses of grief which the history of mankind has preserved -- the
Cross. Consider what calamities that engine of grief has produced!
-John Adams, letter to Thomas Jefferson

"The United States is not a Christian nation any more than it is a Jewish
    or a Mohammedan nation."
    -- Treaty of Tripoli (1797)

Lighthouses are more helpful than churches.
    -- Benjamin Franklin

Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing
    the freeness of speech.
    -- Benjamin Franklin

In 1850, I believe, the church property in the United States, which paid
no tax, amounted to $87 million. In 1900, without a check, it is safe to
say, this property will reach a sum exceeding $3 billion. I would suggest
the taxation of all property equally.
    -- Ulysses S. Grant

Encourage free schools and resolve that not one dollar appropriated for
their support shall be appropriated to the support of any sectarian
schools. Resolve that neither the state nor nation, nor both combined,
shall support institutions of learning other than those sufficient to
afford every child growing up in the land of opportunity of a good common
school education, unmixed with sectarian, pagan, or atheistical dogmas.
Leave the matter of religion to the family altar, the church and the
private school supported entirely by private contributions. Keep the
    church and state forever separate.
    -- Ulysses S. Grant

The Bible is not my book nor Christianity my profession.
    -- Abraham Lincoln

It is an established maxim and moral that he who makes an assertion
without knowing whether it is true or false is guilty of falsehood, and
the accidental truth of the assertion does not justify or excuse him.
    -- Abraham Lincoln

And I have no doubt that every new example will succeed, as every past
one has done, in shewing that religion & Govt will both exist in greater
purity, the less they are mixed together.
-- James Madison, letter to Edward Livingston, July 10, 1822

Religious bondage shackles and debilitates the mind and unfits it for
every noble enterprize, every expanded prospect.
    -- James Madison

Thank God, under our Constitution there was no connection between Church
and State, and that in my action as President of the United States I
recognized no distinction of creeds in my appointments to office.
    -- James K. Polk

I swear, there are some fish that would bite on a zebra-striped

(not French) lure - bite me!". I think I gave up on fishing too soon.

I figured as much, as you can tell by my propensity to insult rather than
educate. I waited for him to post a couple of follow-ups, indicating that
'he' was at least reading the responses.

Any idea on who the puppetmaster is? We have the usual suspects, but
generally someone will be familiar with the moron in question and 'out'
    them.

yeah, and he's almost as dumb and misguided as you are, what's your
