For a pound a day, you could buy a locker in 2 years.

Parking like this is worthwhile, if genuinely secure, for people who
work in the centre.

A pound a day probably looks cheap compared to the bus fare and the
rate for cars. A small part of it could be used to provide
compensation if any parked bikes are stolen or vandalised.

Nah - it's always 'Everything left at owners own risk'. So we can
dream-on if we think any of the £1 for the hire of a locker would go
to insurance for theft/vandalism.

Free pushchairs available to borrow, so you can cycle in with a child
seat then walk a pushchair around town.

This site is also due to get 'luggage lockers'. These will be of great
use for touring cyclists, as you would then be able to leave bikes
locked with panniers in lockers and then have a wander round, and even
have a meal without needing to worry about the safety of your luggage..
