Jay - thanks for helping me add to my kill filter.

And yet you RE-POSTED EVERYTHING HE WROTE!

We'll give you the day off, Ferris, to ponder this.

I'm sorry...do you have a point? I didn't realize it was a rule that you
always had to snip out parts of a message when you replied. Too much
    caffeine today, jerkwad?

The point, asswipe, was that you're too stupid to delete the very text you
claim offended you so much as to kill-file its author.

    Clearer?

What's interesting to me is that I didn't get the original
message, which my ISP correctly screened out as spam. However,
    I did get jay's reposting and Ferris's re-reposting. I wonder
if "jay" in particular is really some sort of automated BOT
designed to get around newsgroup spam filters -- sort of like
the "L*dy Ch*tterly" BOT that plagues some other newsgroups I
    read.

Here's the point you're missing: I didn't feel compelled to delete the
offending content from my reply. That's my choice and there's nothing
stupid about it. Deleting it from my reply wouldn't have removed that
    tripe from the newsgroup.

Here's a tip for you - just because you have the capability of being an
overbearing [censored] who thinks their job is to police usenet doesn't
mean you should actually make a practice of it.

Have a wonderful evening - and good luck telling everyone else how they
should be posting. You're doing a wonderful job!

P.S. Give the rest of the "we'll" from your original reply hugs and
kisses for me. I'm sure all of your personalities will appreciate it.

Bzzzt. Wrong. Many servers delete that kind of [censored] automatically (as
another poster pointed out); all you did was RE-PUBLISH 6 or 7 KBs' worth of
it for everyone to endure again, just to add your fascinating "plonk"
announcement. Who gives a [censored]; just kill-file him and STFU.

Nothing to do with net-copping; everything to do with stupidity and
    hypocrisy.

It was a "Ferris we'll" joke -- AS WAS the day off comment, Bueller.

Sounds to me like YOU need some caffeine...
