We originally considered Lake Wales before moving... I was born in Jacksonville and went to High School in Lakeland (Kathleen Sr.)... but moved away right after high school (USAF). I never thought I'd move back; leasewise before I was ready to retire... Go figure.

Ooooooooooooohhhh... one of these days...!! I'd love to find myself in that neck of the woods! One of our relatives did a geneolgy search and discovered that some of our kin came from Scotland. I thought that was really neat. I find that type of history very fascinating!

And of course McQuown (McEwen) can't possibly be Scottish 😉 Nor Broun (Brown). I love having the McQuown family history back to 1679 (Battle of Bothwell Bridge)... fascinating stuff!

I live in a small place but the nearest big places are Falkirk and Stirling. Not too far from Glasgow either
