Yes, and Hades in Greek is the underground, the dirt, where people store
their potatoes. When they say you go to Hades (translated into Hell,) it
means you are dead.

If you choose to understand Christ you will also understand His Father.

Well, I try to live by the same example that He thought us. It's not
easy combating human nature, but then, no one is perfect. When Jesus
said "be perfect, like your Father in heaven is perfect," He knew we
can't be. That's why He was, and came. And so we try.

Would suggest you reread the passage from Revelations 7 above.

I do accept Christ as my savior. Only I exercise prudence when reading
the bible. It has passed through so many hands, that there are many
things that I don't accept.

What's important is that you believe in Him, have faith, and let the
light of Christ shine through us. If Satan does really exist, and I
doubt that very much, then I don't think it's a must for salvation. You
don't see that written anywhere in the new testament. There is a grand
mystery waiting to unfold, and I think humanity (including you and me,)
are in for a shocking surprise. We may know the notion, but I don't
think we understand all the details; no matter how much you know the
new testament.

Anyway, don't like pissing contests, and I would think that telling
others about Christ would be time better spent.

We have Satan because we have the freewill to chose our saviours ways.
Without freewill we wouldn't even be having this conversation now. God
gives us freewill because He is a loving God

Do you gather with others to worship in His name? Jesus said "For
where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the
midst of them." KJ Matthew 18:20

Many Christian churches have organised house groups, sometimes people
who attend these gatherings don't actually attend church services
unless there is an important event on, or a visiting speaker. As a
'believer' your worship with others gathered in Christ's name is
something that you must do, this sustains your faith and the faith of
others, provides fellowship, is an act of evangelism, sustains the
wider church and its influences to make good, provides The Word to
your ears and knowledge to your head. Worship with others is a little
like taking a watering can to flowers thirsting for water.

It is up to each of us to walk in Christ's ways and to be amongst
those to hold up those who stumble in His ways. This is part of our

where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the

who attend these gatherings don't actually attend church services
unless there is an important event on, or a visiting speaker. As a
'believer' your worship with others gathered in Christ's name is
something that you must do, this sustains your faith and the faith of
others, provides fellowship, is an act of evangelism, sustains the
wider church and its influences to make good, provides The Word to
your ears and knowledge to your head. Worship with others is a little
like taking a watering can to flowers thirsting for water.

I believe in Satan as a real influence as much as I believe that Christ

Or do you believe in God, but do not believe that you are worthy of

Who imposes the conditions of your forgiveness from God. Do you chose
