Any swell over 6', I was spectating. Even a 5' swell translates up to
triple-overhead with a LOT of water moving at The Wedge.

some really good lefts on the northern end of Third Point. But you're

The Point [in Newport] is kind of a misnomer: not a typical point we
normally associate with. But if you're on the Newport pier and look
south, you'll see the long drawn out sand point. Doesn't break that
often, but when it does, it's usually epic ... seen more than a few
surfboards snapped in half there.
