Cannondale are good, but the ones with more panels are better.

The only thing good about Cannondale, are their bikes (I have
two)...Their shorts suck. They have wanttabe chamois that smoush down
and stay flat...Pay more and get the Pearl Izumi attack or microsenor
models, then you can focus on riding instead of your aching bum...

Sugoi shorts are excellent. I have their Technifine Ultimate and RS
Short. Great wicking ability, very well made and most importantly very
comfortable.

I also have some Pearl Izumi Attack shorts and they're also pretty good
but needed some wearing in. My Nalini and Biemme are pretty comfortable
as well.

I must admit though that since I bought my Sugoi shorts the others
haven't been worn as often.

Hi, I have recently bought a pair of Santini Shorts per
reccomendation of the LBS owner. They are very nice indeed with a
very large, thick Chamois Pad, which I cannot distiguish if it is
real, or synthetic? Cost was $70 Mark

Why do people prefer real chamois? My experience with it, and that
covers about two decades, is that it is difficult to maintain, and
that synthetic stays more comfortable with less work and stands up to
frequent washing.
