I tend to be very solitare at the gym..I dont really want to talk to
    anyone..anyways..I was finishing some 120lb militarys..I was wasted..this
guy asked it I would spot him doing 100 lb incline dumbell benches.I got
behind him and didnt have a clue. Uh..ok..what do I do? He said just keep
your hands on my elbows and help when I'm stuck midway. It worked. He got a
    good workout from that.
He tried to talk to me after..but I dont like talking to people at the
gym. I should probably be more friendly at the gym.

Ya' know, Jim, combining my profession as a paramedic and nurse, the fact
that I have a teenage daughter, and your "interesting" posting history, this
was not what I expected from "funny spotting experience".

You really don't want to know any of my "funny spotting experiences".

Are we to understand that these might be to do with wayward bodily
    functions? ;o)

Let's just say that when an ignorant teenage patient tells you the
teenagish/ebonics version of "I've been having some funny spotting", it may
    not go well.

That does seem to be the surprising consensus.

As you said previously, we "really don't want to know" the intricate
details, but we get your drift (and theirs)!! ;o)

There's an article in the paper today about a local person being
arrested for giving illegal abortions. Apparently abortions are so hard
enough (and expensive enough) to obtain that people are using amateurs.
Of course, this didn't get noticed until a young woman had a funny
spotting experience and ended up on the hospital.

Do you suppose Jim was involved?
