Yeah...why not be friendlier at gym - doesnt hurt. And who knows, you might
    need someone's assistance one day.

Consider his personality. Less said the better, IMO.

BTW, I just got back from Venice. It's a nice little town.

Shame if something were to happen to it . . .

The Venice I know and love is at severe risk of disappearing into the
Adriatic, unless the Venetian authorities really grasp the nettle and
    carry out some major repairs.

The Doge would not be pleased!! ;o)

    It's not
something over which we have any control, and there is no particular

I still deeply love ELO, the BeeGees, and Billy Joel (and even quite a
bit of late '60's stuff for that matter). But don't tell anybody.

The Bee Gees are my all-time favourite group, who *were* of course
"late '60's with memorable: "I Started a Joke" and "I've Gotta Get a
Message To You" et al. Fantastic!! ;o)

It was a tragedy the way poor old Maurice shuffled off this mortal
    coil un-necessarily!!

I used to listen to ELO and LZ in 70s before I got bored with all
that and discovered Hindemith and Prokofiev.

It is quite normal for cultured people to be able to appreciate many
kinds of art form without becoming bored with them. Uncultured people
(Philistines) tend to overdo certain things and then tire of them
because of the repetitiveness and over-familiarity!!

Trust me - I know these things!! ;o)

Interesting. Were LZ and ELO prevalent in the USSR in the 1970s?

By the way, have you ever played Hindemith?

Is he a rugby player, and if so which team does he play for?

    [No!]
