I don't suppose £8 per head per night is particularly
steep but the minimum charge of £160 means we would have to be pretty
    certain of numbers before booking

I didn't notice the price. I'd have been more inclined to camp next to
it anyway. £160 means that a minimum of 20 people would be required and
we've *never* had that many people on any expedition, usually only half
    that.

If there is significant support for an expedition either to Cwm
Cywarch (Arans) or another to Rhyd-Ddu I will make inquiries but as I
have very little contact these days with either club I don't want to
bother members I don't know unless there is a real prospect of a
    booking.

Personally I'd rather camp, and rather camp wild than on a site.

No minimum of 10. (It is £8 per night). So we should be able to make
those sort of numbers if not too many decide to camp in preference.
Didn't follow up the camping so no idea what those charges were.

There were 6 of my lot on Exp 15. Were there 14 others?

Cheap. £2/head; £1/child, student, DoE. Facilities are toilets
and drinking water. But of course if some of us are in the barn
the showers would be available as well.

No, only 10. Biggest expedition we've had for a long time. Possibly
    the biggest ever.
