    Is there a general formula for developing power, the sort of power
    sometimes referred to as "explosive power" in the ads?
    I'm asking in relation to power development, as
    opposed to absolute strength development (High weight, low reps) or muscular
    endurance development (low weight, high reps).
    Thanks.

    Power = (Force * Distance) / Time

    So umm, lift something moderately heavy as quickly as possible.

    Like power cleans with maybe 50% of deadlift 1 rep max (just an
    example).
