  1. Everyone knows that a pneumatic tire greater than 36" in diameter is the
holy grail of distance riding. Why would someone post that they have
such a thing in this thread and not support it with photographic
evidence? There's not even a description of how it was done. This would
have taken either something extremely clever or an extremely large
investment. One can only assume that given the complete lack of proof
of existence that this is a hoax put forward by someone who desperately
craves attention. Why continue to give such a person any attention
until either the evidence or an apology appears?

C'mon, lets cut the guy some slack - he actually has explained how it
was done in other threads. I think it wasn't actually a pneumatic tyre
in the end, though I could be wrong... He said the rim was custom but
I thought the tyre was solid rubber.

Well, even though I would drool at a 40" coker, I think Hazmat is quite
a cool guy whether or not he's got a custom unicycle!

    Merry Christmas all!

Cut him some slack? Why? I guess I could just add to the responses in
the -What do people think of me- thread but that seems too bothersome.
Gee, I wonder if this guy craves attention.

YAY!!! I have about a minutes worth of video testing my new helmet cam
on my coker I still haven't quite figured out how to mount it with the
least amount of wiggling so the helmet cam shots are really wiggly but
the camera is an ATC 2K from Oregon Scientific, and for anly about $100
it's a pretty good camera I can mount it on my helmet, my arm, my
unicycle practically anywhere and it records to an SD card.... pretty
nice waterproof up to 10 feet..... I'll have my video up soon as well
    (there's snow in mine!!!)

convereted into quicktime files from AVI files, then spent a REALLY
long time problem solving iMovie because the effect I wanted to use
wasn't working but here it is! my helmet camera test and a 'White

figured I'd post it here first like Terry did.

Nice! The only think I have against the helmet cam is that you can't see
the rider or the coker. That's why if I want some POV stuff, I just
hold the camera as far back as possible--while I'm riding--so the
viewer can at least see part of the coker in the shot.

You could also maybe try aiming the camera down more to show at least
some of your coker as you're riding. Was it slippery on the road with
    all the snow?

it was pretty slippery but it was great fun.... well other than the
fact that it got really cold, and I'm still experimenting with the
camera, it came with a bunch of different ways to mount it I could even
mount it on my arm or my T7 if I wanted I just strapped it to my helmet
quickly for the test. The only way for me to have angled the camera
down where it was mounted would to have been to look down.

the little plastic piece with the slits in it you can feed the velcro
through the slits and then strap the velcro down through some holes in
    your helmet.

Aha! That's awesome stuff 🙂 I'm glad to hear that it's working for
you... I have just been given one for Christmas by my parents 😄

The instructions say it's not shock-resistant though, so I'm thinking I
won't put it on the frame / handlebar of my coker mostly - I don't want
    it to shake to bits.

I'm not really sure how seriously waterproof it is. It sounds like
it'll cope well with spray / rain / occasional drops in a puddle. But
the depths quoted on these things are often for "ideal" conditions and
you can't always get away with such a depth in "real life"... I'd love
to be able to use it to shoot footage under water but I'm not convinced
    it'll stand up to that!

Please post vids of what you get out of this thing! I'll see if I can
get some footage out of my camera too - should be awesome.

    it to shake to bits.

I'll see if I can
get some footage out of my camera too - should be awesome.

that silicon gel stuff can be smeared on the double O-ring and the
camera is then ready to be used in a swimming pool do a search on
youtube and you'll see it gets pretty good shots underwater. I'm not
worried about it shaking to bits when it's mounted on the unicycle I'm
worried about the ground tearing it to bits on a UPD.
