Finally, many of these promotional web sites make the claim that people are
more likely to survive cancer if they do not have conventional treatments.
This is an appalling thing to say. All of us who have worked as health
professionals with cancer patients will have seen people who have not come
forward for treatment. They can have terrible physical problems from their
untreated cancer. Treatment can be given to help with symptoms and improve
quality of life as well as to try to cure. Of course we can't cure
everyone. But that is our aim and why we strive to develop new treatments
year on year. Overall about 1 in 3 men, 4 in 10 women and 7 in 10 children
now survive a diagnosis of cancer. These overall statistics hide the great
success in particular types of cancer, such as testicular cancer and
Hodgkin's disease, which have very high cure rates. This would not be true
without the development of conventional treatments.

I am going to top post here.

I cannot agree with you at all. I have studied cancer. I have done research
on cancer. My relatives have had cancer. My clients have had cancer. I have
    had cancer.

The approach of modern medicine and the MDs to cancer is akin to voodoo
    medicine.

First, try a nonconventioanl approach. I do not like all nor recommend all
the hype alternative treatments. I prefer the one I know can work. Use your
poisoner, your oncologist, as a guide. You cannot let the medical god know
this, but you need to know if your cancer has stabilized, whether it is
shrinking, or whether it is gone.

With the corect approach, this may take up to six ( 6 ) months to get the
    answer.

If your approach is not working, then go to a more drastic approach.

I believe that if more cancer patients opted to defeated cancer by a rational,
intelligent, scientiffically appropriate regimen PRIOR to our current
cut/burn/poison approach, we would be having a great deal more success with
    this disease.

If you look a Gerson's work and realize that he was successful with the
discards of modern medicine, you might better see what I am driving at.

unfortunately many malignancies can kill in that six months......many many

so "waiting" is akin to spinning a roulette wheel..

I have loads of professional and personal experience with cancer...

If I had early stage cancer, or indeed cancer with a good prognosis of
'cure' then I simply couldn't afford to take the risk of alternatives.

I know of one person who had prostate cancer and went Laetrile - he died
(and did Laetrile for >6 months).
I was tempted to go to the clinic and beat the living [censored] out of the staff
there, as it's only a trains drive away.

Sometimes people have not got the time to keep trying or indeed the money.
Gerson costs a lot of money, I have been pricing Kelley's protocol also, and
that costs a lot of money.
It would cost me about 40 BGP per week in enzymes alone, I spend that on
    food..

Chemo/Radiation/Surgery does get 'cures' - sometimes spectacular, and more
so than no treatment at all - surgery being the 'golden option' provided
    your cancer is operable.

Well if you look at the study done on melanoma in the Oasis, the Gerson
therapy has no stage IVB survivors, it had 100% early stage survivors.
I spoke to a lady (via phone) who did Gerson for her Stage III ovarian
cancer, she took the alternative route - she has no signs of cancer, but
that could be due to the treatments she had before.
She also is stuck with Gerson - she says the diet is boring, although she
does cheat from time to time. She's been cancer free for >5 years.
You can't be sure something like this is going to work - that's the problem
    I have with it.
I also had conversations with Michael Gearin Tosh, who should be dead but he
isn't - he's anemic which is a sign that his cancer is there still, or it
could just be down to the Gerson diet lacking in what he needs to make the
    neccesary stuff in his blood.
You have to remember that these are isolated cases and selected from a pool
    of thousands of people.

I don't, usually. It is difficult to follow the discussion.

My education and training is modern medicine. My PhD research was paid for by
doing cancer research. However, the results of treating cancer by modern
medicine is akin to being a con man. I can no longer accept the lie nor
participate in it. My brain washing has worn off. I can now see the forest
    and the trees.

I am convinced that cancer comes as either natural, a normal cellular response
to its environment, or induced, which means exposure to some chemical or
radiation has caused a DNA change in the cell.

When working with the normal variety, alt treatments can often work very well,
but they are not well documented and described. So can the chemo and radiation
of modern medicine. However, with chemo and radiation you may well be faced
with induced cancers from the chemo and the radiation. This approach is akin
to driving a tack with a 10 lb sledge hammer.

With induced cancer, you have to look at the cancer as if it were internal
gangrene. You must do something drastic to aid the body or you will die.
It is with induced cancer that modern medicine utterly fails. You cannot
eradicate cancer with cancer producing chemicals and radiation.
It is with induced cancer that alt methods fail because of the lack of studies,
any continuity of action, and the complete lack of knowledge of how the body
works and what is needed to aid the body in defeating the internal gangrene we
    call cancer.

It is sad that the monopoly we call modern medicine can produce so many deaths
from their medicines, their treatments, and
and their vaccines, yet we still cling to them as if we had no other choice.

Regards to your folks back at home, then.
Wonder how's the weather there these days..
Heading to Earth from Andromeda, I've heard they most often give Venus the
flyby as being too hot and steamy.
