OK, what am I missing? I'm using Mozilla Thunderbird. I go to create
filter from message and do the obvious, and still he gets through.

    Can somebody advise me, please?

I have KFed him (author) and KFed every crossposted thread (subject).
    I don't KF addresses.

Killfilling anything crossposted to alt.atheism seems to
do the job for Mr. Chung.

Thannks, I'll try that. Now, what about those other turkeys?

  4. OK Sorry, mea culpa.
    Don't killfile me.
I just got kinda [censored] and replied (rather obscenely) to that one
    post of his.

Don't worry, be happy... and fire at will.

If you post to a thread I've Kill Filed, you're effectively KFed
there... but you aren't specifically KFed (unlike at least 3 other
regulars here), so I see you in the threads I haven't KFed - like this
one. LOL! I went through my rather short and manageable KF yesterday
and reset many of the filters to expire 5 or 10 days after the "last"
post (subject or author). If they come back, I'll reKill them
providing they haven't changed the error of their ways. It ain't hard
    to do with Agent.

The one thing I need to figure out is how to effectively KF entire
cross posted newsgroups. Agent warns us of cross posting, so we can
reply to all or just the current ng. But when I entered specific ngs
in my filter manually, the filter didn't immediately cleanse rfc of
the offending posts the way it does when I KF authors or subjects...
so I'm not sure what I did wrong or if it's even possible.

Do not enter specific news groups to your kf. Subscribe to them and
get headers only. They need to be positioned so that they are
downloaded before RFC. Then set cross posting to ignore postings
already downloaded. sci.med.cardiology works for me.

Thanks, I'll give it a try... I didn't know I could move the ngs
around and out of alphabetical order. Don't you find this process is
cumbersome and takes longer than just deleting whatever makes it into
rfc? We also have to filter out several alt.skinhead groups now.

I am using 3.2 now. I forget what you can do with 2.0. I think you
can use Agent Group Order. Check Google for the URL.

I am enjoying 3.2 but there is a learning curve.
