I don't know the exact mechanism between the input (various trigger
foods) and output (various symptoms). Leak gut brought on by
overconsumption of milk and grain products commonly available in the US
is my best guess. The exact mechanism could be leaky tounge, slippery
    blood, funny genes, etc.

So you are saying that I put the cart before the horse. I first assumed
that I have a leaky gut. Then I said since I have leaky gut, I should
be having reactions to milk and grain products. Then, when I consume
milk and grain products, I am either imagining or pyso-inducing the
constipation, hemmorhoids, inflammation, phlem, nasal congestion,
headaches, jaw-aches, gout-like sensations, etc. And the red dots or
inflammed knuckles and waking up in the night with sweats and itching
all over are just my imagination. And my continous search for cause and
effect which has tracked down the repeatable triggers foods are simply
placebos. So you are saying the my need to validate that I have a leaky
gut overrides the continuing craving for consuming Borden's Whole Milk,
Brown Cow's Full Fat Yogurt, HEB's Ricotta/Colby/Swiss/Monterrey Jack
Cheese, General Mill's Oat Meal, Nabisco's Shredded Whole Wheat,
Tropicana's Premium Orange Juice, Sarah Lee's Pound Cake and Breyer's
    French Vanilla Ice Cream?

"Leak Gut" was my best guess to tersely describe the
operator/function/mechanism between various observed inputs and outputs
over several years. Could you offer a better/alternate mechanism for
    the described inputs and outputs?

Yeah, see a real doctor. Get a real examination. Quit fooling yourself and
find out what is really going on.
Self diagnosis is the same thing which (I think it was yesterday) had
hundreds of people calling for action because they believed that
inoculations caused their child's autism (here in the US). While at the same
time, the fourth major study was released showing no association between the
    two.
It is the same thing which crazy George uses to berate milk.
It is the same think which has fueled the Salem witch trials.
It is same think which all the wack-jobs use to justify their paranoid
    beliefs.
Science is covering up the truth.
Doctors what you to be sick--see they get kick-backs from the big Pharma.
You should use ancient Chinese medicine. Yeah, that's the ticket.
Of course, ignore the fact that ancient Chinese only lived to an average age
of about 40 (why do you think old age was so revered in those
cultures--people thought someone who managed to live that long--i.e. 60+---
must have some super secret--yeah, don't trust the ancient Chinese
    doctors).
You want to die young and leave an ugly corpse, have at it. It's your body,
your life. Your can remain ignorant for all you life. I don't care. Just
don't ask me to foot the bill when you've hopeless screwed yourself.
Remember, ignorance can be overcome, stupid is hopeless--it's your choice.
You obviously know nothing about science, so go see a professional.
    Are they always right, nope.
Are the going to magically cure you, nope. Science doesn't work that way,
quackery does (or so they say).
So far, despite the lies of the alternative medicine folks, nobody has a
better system that what we've got.

Thanks. By the way, www.mdheal.org/leakygut.htm seems to describe my
    situation.

  7. Another name for "Leaky Gut Syndrome" for the person who believes it is
not medically recognized, is called MALABSORPTION. The presentation of
malabsorption, from a medical standpoint is certainly somewhat
different, but its really talking about the very same thing as leaky
    gut syndrome.

Peyer's Patches are a part of the lymphatic system that no doctor would
dispute exists within our bodies....and they are there within the
mucous lining of the gut specifically to deal with food particles
(foreign invaders) that permeate the gut.

So, maybe our bodies are a bit more sophisticated than the scientific
medicine that is cited earlier in this thread???? Most doctors know
very little about nutrition. ..and most dieticians are still going by
the nutritional knowledge of the 1970's or earlier.

Here's a link that might help explain what I'm referring to:

Dude, the point is, if you self diagnose by reading web pages on the
internet, you may well decide that you have been abducted by aliens, and
they are not parasitically living in your intestines. That also describes
    your condition.
Why not find out if you really ARE allergic to some foods. GET TESTED.
Good god, do I really have to tell you that. Are you living on your own?

    Thanks for the advice. From
    www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=faq&dbid=30 the most common allergic
foods are listed below. At the top are wheat and milk (probably the
USDA approved pastuerized/homogenized version from fungus-infected,
grain-fed cows maintained with fora killing antibiotics and growth
hormones and with added vitamin E to prevent the higher polyunsaturates
from going rancid). At my worst, I had reactions to all of them except
strawberries and spinach. As I heal, more of them become tolerable.

    Cow's milk
    Wheat
    Soy
    Shrimp
    Oranges
    Eggs
    Chicken
    Strawberries
    Tomato
    Spinach
    Peanuts
    Pork
    Corn
    Beef

Good point. Also a search for "intestinal mucosal permeability" at
    www.pubmed.com return 2639 articles.

Interesting link. I had read else where that Peyer's Patch sampled food
near the bottom of the stomach and provided feedback as to how much
acid to release. This article says Peyere's Patches are distributed
through out the digestive system and basically defend the body against
inadequately digested food particles crossing the gut wall and entering
    the blood.

From the info above, it would be wise for humans to stay away from
    dairy (including cow's milk) products.

The "info above" is not info, it is an editorial. They don't add vitamin E to
milk. But I suppose you are going to pick it up and run with it to substantiate
    your hair-brained point of view.

The cheapest brand of milk available here is supplemented with Vitamins
A, D and E. It says so right on the label. The organic only has Vitamin
D added. Grain/seed consumption raises polyunsaturates in cows and
    humans.

Vitamin E is a preservative. HEB calls it "value added". Does their milk have
a longer shelf life than normal?

As I understand it, Vitamin E is an antioxidant that delays
    polyunstaturated oils from becoming rancid.

The last gallon (with E) went bad in about 2 or 3 weeks in my fridge.

It would be interesting to know how long it lasts after its expiration date and
compare with other brands for the same thing. I am suspicious of milk that
lasts too long. I just know it is not ordinary milk.

Whether milk putrifies or sours is probably more dependent on bacterial
flora of the milk. If milk has antibotics, does it encourage
putrification? Does milk commonly have antibiotics? Does anyone know if
"unadulterated" milk tends to sour or putrify if left standing either
in fridge or at room temperature? I have had mild, sour-tasting milk
(in third world countries) but I don't know how it was prepared.
