Odd, my Brasher Fellmasters have the grippiest soles of any boots I've
owned. The rubber compound doesn't seem to "polish" at all and the blocks
are widely spaced so as not to easily clog with mud and grass and stuff.

2004 model year). 8>.

The most likely looking entry in my Quicken database would seem to be June
2002. I would have guessed 2003 from memory, but forgot to allow for the
time dilation effect of old age...

Most, but not Brasher ones, which is probably the problem (someone there
thought they could do it 3p cheaper by omitting the Vibram logo, and the
umpteen decades of research Vibram have put in).

I had a pair of Brasher boots about 15 years ago and I felt that they
were downright dangerous! They seemed to have no grip at all on rock.
Hope things have improved since!
