Thankfully, all that is needed for safe permanent weight loss is a
healthy diet with food that is blessed by God dovetailed with the
2PD-OMER Approach, which is already blessed by God:

A friend of mine had this book on the diet. There was several of us there.
One was asked if she was going to try it. She said "hell no she wasn't...
not when the writer of the diet dropped dead."

Yes, Dr. Robert Atkins did drop dead, was resuscitated, only to die a
year later at the doorsteps of his office.

What is the difference between the atkins diet and a type II diet?

Depends on how you define a type II diet. If you are referring to the
ADA recommendations, the difference is carbs. The Atkins diet is
low-carb while the ADA diet is less-carb (avoiding simple sugars).

Simple established fact. He had a virus infection in his
heart that had been growing for years. One day his heart
stopped. Fortunately his arteries were quite clear for a
man his age and the resuscitation worked fine. He
continued to work for well over a year after that day
before he slipped on the ice and broke his head. There
is no resuscitation method for a smashed skull and bashed
    brain.

Yup. Every person who has invented a diet plan has died or will die.

    No.

    Truth is simple:

The way to the truth is straight and narrow:

    http://makeashorterlink.com/?A2642108A

You will remain in my prayers, dear neighbor, whom I love, in Lord
    Christ's holy name.

May you reject your pride and accept Him as your personal Lord and
Savior, someday, so that you too will have eternal life and the
fascinating riches of His everlasting kingdom.

    Here's how:

    http://makeashorterlink.com/?I22222129

Please note that God truly made this special link describing that He is
the great "I am" and that His message is as simple as the number 2 which
is a number between 1 to 9 and reminds us of His 2 commandments, the 2
arms of the cross, the 2nd part of the Trinity, the 2 finger sign of the
Prince of Peace [who remains *V*ictorious over death and satan], and the
2PD-OMER Approach. Let it not ever be written that Christ did not make
His presence known here on Usenet :-)

Also, note that Exodus 16:16 continues to remind us that 16 oz plus 16
oz makes 2 pounds, which is "a certain measure of weight," which is what
    "omer" literally means in Hebrew.

Enter the 2PD-OMER Approach, which can "cure" metabolic syndrome (MetS)
thereby bringing this thread back on topic in these NGs :-)

    No.

Then why did you state that he dropped dead and lived again. Sounds like he
    rose from the dead.

    I did not.

Well, you said he did "drop dead." I can't read that any other way than to
say he died. Is this not correct? You go on to say he died a year later. So
he died then died again. What convoluted logic are you using, dear Andrew?

Yesssss ... and ... ? Resuscitated means to restore to concious life. Died,
then brought back. What's your point?
