age, it is uncommon for people to take the time to divorce themselves from

I should qualify my earlier statement.
I live in an area where parks get a lot of traffic from mtb's, hikers,
dogs, old ladies, little kids, everybody. If you're someplace where
you're not going to see anyone all day, fine, rupture your eardrums.
But if you're somewhere someone could be inconvenienced or even injured
because you just had to hear some Marky Mark while bombing downhill,
you deserve to 'Feel the Vibration' in the darkest of places.
Getting away with elbowing is easy when the person has rendered
themselves deaf to what's around them because they couldn't bear to go
an hour without their Kelly Clarkson fix.

I live in an area where parks get a lot of traffic from mtb's, hikers,
dogs, old ladies, little kids, everybody. If you're someplace where
you're not going to see anyone all day, fine, rupture your eardrums.
But if you're somewhere someone could be inconvenienced or even injured
because you just had to hear some Marky Mark while bombing downhill,
you deserve to 'Feel the Vibration' in the darkest of places.
Getting away with elbowing is easy when the person has rendered
themselves deaf to what's around them because they couldn't bear to go
an hour without their Kelly Clarkson fix.

I personally like to hear the wind, the sounds of the tires, the wilderness,
the local wildlife. I kinda use biking to "get away from it all" including
the latest Kelly Clarkson tunes...

I jam all the way there, and all the way back in my truck, but not while
riding....

I always condone safe use of public trails for all who partake. There are
many riders who need a little extra room and caution when encountered on the
trail for whatever reason. So I'm curious where do you draw the line with
your physical contact? The dufus who is blowing out their eardrums on
Fishbone with an MP3 player or some newbie trying mt biking for the first
time.

Ok I may be a dufus...that much is subjective and you might think so if you
talk to the missus, she howled as I asked her for the credit card, but who
says I was blowing my brains out??

I like music but guy, I listen at a level where I can still hear what's
going on around me. My gauge is if I can hear the tire scuffing on the
terrain it's at the right level of sound from the player.

The accident with the hand off the bar yadayadayada?? that was purely my
fault, don't hate the player.
