Sorry to reply to myself but Alan Atwood fits into a bunch of these lists.
Since he posts very little here it just went right by.
Wade Summers is also in that category.

Respect has nothing to do with it. Recreation Bicycles Racing is also
entertainment, how much respect can you have for anyone simply from reading
their posts? Now that said, there are lots of well educated cyclists in the
group, as well as doctors, historians, and those that know just about every
aspect of cycling, a specialist who will chime in with excellent feedback.
Pick just about any possible question related to Pro racing worldwide, and
if the right lurkers tap in, you will get all the info you are looking for
and more. What more could you possibly ask for? This is where it rocks,
cheaper then paying for all those cycling mags and more fun then just
reading articles from the web. The cadence and horsepower thread was a
excellent example of what might happen on a rainy day. Hurray for the Euro
guys who have a window on the world. Heck, even Tosi and especially Sergio
have a fresh hand in the Italian cycling world, and thanks so much
especially to Sergio for all the help he has provided me! He is definitively
at the top of my list! :-)

theory, whereby a deliberately unstable system has been designed so as

Nah, don't quit posting. You Heather, Sierraman, and maybe a couple others
are the only posters I always make an effort to read. Not posting for
awhile won't work anyway. Heck, I only read maybe 1 in 3 OP's, rarely a
whole thread, and only post something, what, once every coupla months on
average, and somehow even _I_ made it one of these lists (though thankfully
not this one!) I guess them's the pros and cons of being female in a 99%
male environment.

PM me and let me know how the sponsorship thing and your injury are doing,
and stuff like that :-)

That's true. The 6L6 packs a wallop, too. A well balanced tube set-up
can sound *so* good, especially when paired with an efficient set of
speakers.
