Not me. I'd vote for ED, or Chung because both have put a [censored] of
good stuff to discuss up this year. Pappy hasn't been real active, but
should get some recognition every year.

You guys. I do always read Chung's posts (gladly) but I think neither he nor
I bring much cycling content to the group. In fact I drank too much
champagne (the good stuff) to imagine who might have been poster of the
year. Nominate Jeff Jones (et al.) for rbr destroyer of the year.

Yup, Chung's are always interesting.

I gotta give a tip of the cap to Ewoud. I was really overjoyed to have a chance to watch some great Euro cross this year, and it was because he took the time and energy.......

This might shock a few of you, but after Ewoud, I gotta give Crit Pro some credit. He stays on topic, reveals some interesting information, and is obviously the real deal. He stirred the pot, and actually kept things interesting around here.

Thanks--I think. Drinking an riding reminds me of a "race" that was held
yearly in Oyster Bay, NY in the 1970s. It was a ten bar race in which you
had to drink a pint at each bar along the way. IIRC, the police finally
clamped down on it. It was a kind of German Bicycle Sport Club championship
of sorts.

Time for that first ride of the year and we have temps going in to the 50sF
here in New England. Perfect! Happy New Year!

heard a couple of years ago from the Visentins that he had a heart attack
but is now doing ok.

Larry, that just shows you're still not a true South Floridian. True South
Floridians grumble when it gets below 60 and wouldn't dare go in the water
without a wetsuit when it is less than 75.

Yes, it's me. As bad as Kissena Velodrome was it always garnered a spirited
group of cyclists. Now, I have access to a year round velodrome in Ft.
Lauderdale and most days at the track I'm all by myself for hours. What a
shame. If I could transfer the Ft. Lauderdale track to Kissena I would. I
know it would be much more appreciated.

BTW, Pat Gellineau was in my neck of the woods a week back riding at the local
golf course training ride. Temps? In the 70s.

LOL, I'm still trying to adjust to how serious the locals are about the
training rides.
