  1. Does anyone on the group wear a rasta hat over their dreadlocks while
riding? If so, how does it affect your road vision? On special occasions,
I ride with a cat in the hat hat, but then I'm always in an upright
position and not going too fast so I never noticed vision changes.

What about riding with a heater cat hat, instead of a Cat in the Hat hat?
    http://www.heatercats.com/

"The name "heater cat" derives from a sketch on the radio program "Prairie
Home Companion"... a heater cat is a Big Warm cat, suitable for Minnesota
winters. Buy a big coat with four pockets sewn into the inside of the front,
then pop a heater cat into each pocket... " A heater cat hat is the same
idea -- a hat with a compartment in it, big enough to carry a warm cat in.

Be sure your heater cat meets ANSI or Snell standards for bicycle headware.

But the cat might chase the killer rabbit down the Henry Hudson
    Parkway.

No thanks. I am sticking with my propellor beanie hat.

No, but I do have a Little Cat Z, and I bet you can't guess what he's
    got in HIS hat!

I will never know. But boy, let me tell you, it _does_ clean up snow!

Ha. I had forgotten the story. Thanks for the reminder, it brings back
    memories.
