    Maybe he should change his name, from Michael to Murphy. Talk about

    It wasn't clear to me why he was having so many problems. Was he sick,
    injured, hung over... ??

    He pretty much knew he had no chance to hold off Ullrich, so when he first
    went down I think he panicked a bit. Then he lost all composure when the
    bike wasn't right, and it just compounded from there. It was actually sort
    of tragic AND comical at the same time when he rode right off the road and
    endo'd. I mean, that looked like something *I* would do! Poor sod...
