Rash on Scrotum, need advice..

See a doctor.

There are several problems with seeking advice for a condition like this in
a newsgroup. So far as I know none of the regulars here is a dermatologist.
And even if the condition were a common one that would be easily recognized
by any of the doctors here, I'm sure none would be willing to diagnose your
problem without actually seeing your scrotum, and I, for one, do not care to
see it.

So, see a doctor. The only general advice that applies is keep it clean and
don't scratch it.

Seriously, Rich is right - get it diagnosed properly and the correct
treatment then usually follows.

Stop using soap on your nuts and just rinse them with wtaer in the shower.
Try an alcohol based corticosteriod occasionally.

Licking them will not help.

Steroid preparations on the scrotum are not a good idea. They tend to thin
skin, and application to this already thin and delicate skin can damage it
and make it even more vulnerable to fungal and bacterial infection.

See a real doctor.

I don't think you can get a yeast(Candida) infection on your scrotum.
Often diabetics can get this on the glans if they are uncut as it is a
moist perfect place for it to grow. However, gynelotramin and scrupulous
cleaning will clear it up in short order. However if you do get it and
you're uncut it can cause a hardning of the skin and make retraction
difficult and painful. Triple anitbiotic on the outside of the foreskin
helps this.

All this said, I don't think you have a yeast infection on your scrotum.
More likely ecsema or something else and please go see your doc or a
dermatologist. The cure is perhaps easier and simplier than you imagine
and there is nothing to be flipped out about either. They understand.

While soap may be an irritant, simply rinsing one's genitalia with
water is not adequate hygiene. There are other products available to
cleanse the area.
