Maybe the Disco PR team gave Paulo some pointers - his podium demeanor
had changed a lot from his first Giro win.

I can see the 'talk' now:

Johann: 'Paolo, there are a bunch of girls in fancy dresses outside the
trailer and they have knives and pitchforks - one has a burning torch...'

    Dumbass---

Did my "lol" follow the picture or my sarcastic question about a
"helmet"? Use your head a little bit here.

And if I was somehow laughing that the picture is that really worse
than [censored]? Or are you just being a dramatic little [censored]?

If you didn't have your head up your ass you would know that the
    HELMET? comment is damn funny.

Clean the [censored] out of your ears and get back in the game.

kinda bad form to criticise someone else on not recognising humour
    when you've just missed theirs...

He seems to be happier with stage wins than GC placement. He smiled a
lot after his Giro stage win, too, but precious little for the rest of
the race. Perhaps this is another symptom of his "humbleness," of not
believing he's really a great champion and is somehow undeserving of
    those kinds of victories.

I guess every time someone says something stupid they can just cover
it up with "lol, i was joking".

Ok, well guess what, I was joking too.

Ha ha, gotcha, I thought you were smarter than that!
