Did anybody notice the pictures? Do the tires look a bit fat? What's with the

Agree -- I would stay far away from this one. I did see a similar bike in the LBS last weekend. The
rims are carbon fiber, which is likely why the tires look fat in the low-res pictures. Obviously,
the whole bike is 7.8 kg, not just the frame, but if the person selling it doesn't know this, I
wouldn't trust him any farther than I could throw him.

The tires dont' look flat, they seem to be recessed into some groove, and that's what is holding the
bike upright. As for the wall hanging picture, it looked totally fake to me as well, but I'm pretty
sure it's real. For something that expensive, there should be plenty of high resolution pictures
(and not ones stolen from other websites) of the bike...

When I first heard of these, mentioned in one of the cycling pubs, they were supposed to be in the
$12K bracket. Someone claiming to be from Andorra was listing a pile of the CF1 frames on ebay a
couple months back, which seemed suspicious. I'd expect nothing less than the serial number of this
bike in an auction listing. For the money, I'd insist upon being able to fly to San Luis Obispo, CA
to inspect before handing over the money. You don't buy one of these every day and you'd better be
damn sure you get what you think you're paying for.

The mountain version of this bike was in the $9500 range. I think the limited edition CF1 was more.

tires. In the picture, it appeared almost to have 26 x 2.25 knobbies.
