Although a 6-8 miler is normally plenty for me on a treadmill, today I ran with the olympians. I started when they did and even bumped up the icline when they were running the big hill. It was very motivating and my 17 miles went by quickly.
That butt head that knocked Vanderlei de Lima off the course better watch his ass. South Americans don't like that kind of stuff. Remember the soccer player from either Brazil or Columbia who was assasinated for his play?
Awesome race for Meb Keflezighi. Also a quite respectable finish for Culpepper. Dan Brown almost certainly would have done better if he had not competed in the 10,000 meters. Go figure.. we actually got more marathon medals than the Kenyans. Hope this not just a single event success. Perhaps we have turned the corner and will be more competitive with the Kenyans in the future. I wonder how much effect many of the elite now sleeping in simulated high altitude rooms has helped?
OTOH, Bill is a limpin' althlete. (and a limp troll at that)
So Prozac, are you trying to defend this idiot? I mean C'mon now, do you call this behavior *normal* ? The guys drinking Schlitz beers while he jogs on his treadmill, and watching the olympics while he pretends he's there. That IS one sick dude Ed.
