That's what the unnamed QS rider said in the press reports that Lefevre threatened to sue about in the Spring - does this explain why the team had (at least by their standards) a pretty poor classics campaign?

So when QuickStep get thrown out for systematic doping Hincapie will be the winner of all classics for the last 5 years ! legend....... :p

News in, Hincapie was going to UCI HQ to collect his prize money when he fell into a ditch. He should be back again for the 2008 classics campaign when he fully intends to fall into another ditch at the first available opportunity.

That was in one of the other news reports, I presume its the same as Manzano was saying about someone in a lab tipping of Kelme and USPS when the 'vampires' were going to call.

Nice bloke? How do you know? He's part of the infamous doped to the gills US Postal cavalry charge that ruined the Tour for all of us (apart from House) for 7 years in a row. Should have stayed in the ditch....anyway, wasn't this thread supposed to be about Quikstep?😄

Only the riders directly involved (those found in possession) would be likely to be blocked from starting. I mean, if Valv(Piti) can start the Tour then how can they bar anyone else from starting?

So you guys make fun of Hincapie for not winning even though he has been very close a number of times, and you gripe about the winners being dopers. The evidence seems to point in the direction that Hincapie is a "clean" racer. Someone that has been so close so many times with a little "help" surely would have won one. Choose one side of the argument please.

Okay. Dode Hincapie is a doper. He was the only one to ride in all L.A.'s seven Tour winning teams, ergo he is a doper. Happy now?

Does Bettini live in Belgium? What would be the status of his World's if he was guilty? Would they award it the 2nd place?

I'm starting to get the feeling that there are people in cycling who don't care that the sport is being torn down. I'm curious as if there will be any less interest in this years TDF if some main riders in QS go down.

Once again though it's the police doing all the work, seems their the best hope for cleaning up cycling.

I'm starting to think that people involved in cycling and the riders are not that smart. With the enviroment that is out there today with doping, does it make sense to store the stuff in your home?
