I was grocery shopping today and decided to look at these since they
were on sale. I found that they are LC! 1/4 cup serving has 3 carbs,
and from reading the lable I didn't find any flour or sugar or anything
like that. 🙂 Just thought I'd pass this on. I've been intrigued by
cheese sauces, but don't have the money to be making them myself-cream
is expensive! It's nice to have a cheap, pre made alternative. (I paid
$1.79/2 jars-BOGO-normal $1.79/ea)

I'd imagine you could use them the same way you would a fettucini sauce.
Heat it up and serve it over the food, or mix it in. I can't wait to
try it. -

You could even use it as a dip with raw veggies. -

I use Bertoli's Alfredo Sauce as salad dressing. One tablespoon has .75
carbs and 27.5 calories.--

And interesting side note. There is a regular Ragu Alfredo Sauce and
also the Ragu Carb Options version, which is labeled as low carb. If
you read the labels, in fact they are both very low carb, the LC
version is like only 1g lower. So you can use the regular or spend a
lot more to get the Carb Option one, which is almost the same. -

In fact, there are lots of brands of Alfredo sauce and they are all pretty
much the same in terms of carb content. I like the Classico sauces quite
well. I have posted this before but a favorite recipe of mine is shrimp,
scallops and artichoke hearts (Kroger's has great frozen ones) in Alfredo
sauce over spaghetti squash. Non LC SO loves it, too.In news:[email hidden],
