  1. Anyone in the Radio Solent area?

    From Adam at CTC:

I pre-recorded an interview on BBC Radio Solent. This will go out at
5.30pm in the Drivetime Show. They will then invite listeners to
    comment on this issue

What was the "listners' verdict"? I started listening and even planned
to phone in in my official capacity. But after 10 minutes of listening
to BHIT and tales of "a hat saved little Jimmy's life", I was too
apoplectic to carry on listening, let alone be heard on radio. I turned
off. I did, however, text my vote from all 7 mobile phones that I found
    in the house.

That makes the poll more accurate, does it?

    [snip a lot of [censored]]

    Apologees.

Cut'd n pasted from the "listeners Verdict not found" bit off Solent's page,
in response to OPs request that we listen to his ramblings.

But I must have had a brain fart - I saw afterwards how it ended up being
    presented on the NG.

And AFAIK, you can't call it back and wipe it off the NG.

Best ignore this thread completely, apart from my "Sorry - ooops"!

Use the Cancel Message function of your Outlook Depress. As the poster
you can call it back. Although it doesn't work with 100% efficiency it
    is pretty good.

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/using/howto/oe/newsgroups.mspx
"You can cancel a message you have posted by selecting the message,
clicking the Message menu, and then selecting Cancel Message. Canceling
a message does not remove it from a newsgroup user's computer if the
user downloaded the message before it was canceled. You can cancel only
messages you have posted; you cannot cancel another person's message."
