can i race in your country - i was thinking about during a vacation - without a USCF licence. i would have thought it would be ok because my british licence is also a Union Cyclist International licence, but i'm not sure. anyone know? thanks.
Yep, if you have an int. licence your good to race in the US.

But I think a license from a federation endorsed by the UCI is different from an international license isn't it?
As long as you have a UCI license, you are good to go. In the USA we have domestic (USA racing only) and international (UCI) licenses. Typically, most countries licenses are automatically UCI and good throughout the world. Where will you be racing in the states?

Australia has domestic licences which bear the UCI logo and look like international licences, but separate international licences exist and are needed to race internationally. I can't speak for any other country but I would check with your federation and with the USCF.
i'm looking at doing a trip to new york, taking in some of the crits that i've heard happen midweek - 'prospect park' & 'floyd bennet field'
