BTW, I think Dufaux and Pecharroman are really bad buys for Quick.Step. Especially Dufaux; he's just
there because Virenque demanded it I guess. Pecharroman, what does QS want with him??

Flecha OTOH seems like a very good buy. Too bad, he would be good for Rabo too, maybe a substitute
for a fading Dekker. But in the end QS seems like the best team for him.

Virenque played it well "i want to finish my career on a French team", creating a situation where he

This one is not in yet. QS is the perfect team for the guy. For a clueless Spanish rookie he did
very well in the april races I think. He has the potential and the will to improve to top level in
the classics then.

But OTOH tell me, which foreigner has ever done really well at Rabo ? I don' t count Wauters as a
foreigner.

I know, it's The Curse Of The Rabobank. It has been suggested (by you even?) that Rabo is a lot
cleaner than the teams where these rising stars come from.

Now about Dufaux: those Festina Gand Cru guys stay well competitive until their mid-30's. Would that

the "French team" exit threat was a statement in the bargaining over his new QSD contract. Getting
his buddy on the team is part of the outcome. Kinda like Cipo's reitrement talk last year.

Virenque and Dufaux already rode as a team this Tour.
