  1. Is the posting of 2nd hand gear accepted or not in this newsgroup?

    Many thanks

Half of us will probably say not; half will [censored] up ears and wait
eagerly for the next bargain to happen along. Wotcher got?

    If it's a bargain I don't suppose anyone would complain. ;^}

That's rather a bold proposition to make in this NG! Bizarrely, I
remember a row from some time last year when a regular poster drew
attention to a significant discount his employer was offering on OS
    maps. Um...?

    Best wishes,

    I'll risk it then 😉

To make it easier i've knocked up a web page with pictures and the
    condition of the items.

    http://www.norry.co.uk/selling.htm

    Basically a few men's / women's clothes.

If it's a regular poster, most of us will turn a blind eye. But if you have
just popped in to flog gear and never to be heard from again....

Hi Jhimmy, i've posted a few times but i've really been a lurker for a
couple of years. I enjoy walking alot with my partner (and our dog!)
although mountain biking and mountain unicycling are my true passions.
To save any potential ill feeling i'll put a close to this thead surfice
to say people know the website so if anyone is interested you can
contact me using the email that is on that site.

  10. Hi There

Personaly I am always interested in a bit of second hand gear. However
not at present. But what I really wanted to comment on was the "Quick
Page you knocked Up". I am a keen amateur in web design, and would like
to comment on the highly professional webpage you have there. It looks
like you may have used a template from another site. Are you
    professional web designers?

Anyway sorry to post off topic, but was well impressed with the site!

So was I - so I looked at the source and saw that it was produced by a
'TiddlyWiki'. I'd dabbled with Wiki pages, but not heard of the 'Tiddy'
variety. Anyone that's got more than a passing interest in simple, but
effective web pages ought to check it out.

and this one looks even better:

Unfortunately with Javascript disabled (as some may have for security
reasons or just because their browser doesn't do it) it fails horribly.
