    do you really want to? You heat meat long enough and you will destroy
    any organisms present. Make sure the meat reaches at least 160 degrees
    fahrenheit...check out this government website...

    ya know what...I just don't think I would have an appetite knowing I
    was eating e-coli contaminated beef...just through it in the trash...

    It's a recall.. ... he can take it back and get non contaminated beef.
    That would be my first choice.

  6. Fortunately its a hypothetical question.

    Still I think any ground meat is likely to have a small amount of bacteria
    present and proper storage keeps that number very small.
