I'm not a Tylerite, but a systematic error in an unvalidated
    subjective test would cover that.

Campbell's dissenting opinion was as much about process as
science. And regardless of Tyler's guilt or innocence he had
    some very valid points.

Systematic subjective error that singled out two guys from the same
    team and no one else?

Are you familiar with Tammy Thomas' case? No one cares about the
process there because she did it and good riddance. But catching
her was not random, she was clearly targeted.

You can search on dope test statistics at the USADA web page.
If you look at cycling for 2004, a couple of things stick out.
Amber Neben and Alison Dunlap were the most tested riders,
9 times. Next was Horner, 7 times.

You would expect Olympic team members to be high on the list,
and they are. But Bergman was tested 6 times last year in less
    than half a season.

Many of those were due to race performances, so that's not an
accurate measure of the factors that go into selecting who
gets tested. You'd need to know the race randoms and out of
competition numbers to see that. But I do not believe that dope
testing is a strictly random process.

As a side note, Doug 'The Animal' Beck was tested at track
nationals last year. And his selection was very clearly not
random. I'm not arguing whether that is appropriate or not.
But you can't say there is no possibility for systematic bias
    or error.

Who else was tested at the same time with the same procedure?
