Bear,
As far as I'm concerned, there are no carbs in any food consumed on
Thanksgiving, Christmas, or my Birthday. I've done that for years.
The one year I did a completely low carb Thanksgiving with none of our
family's traditional foods I got profoundly depressed and the next year I
decided to cut myself some slack.
However, I don't have a problem with bingeing, so I can blow it out one day
and get back on track the next. If you have a history of eating one cookie
and then going through three more boxes, it might be better to go easy.
Only you know what you can handle.
