  1. Hi everyone!

My Schwinn Moab bike was delivered with, in my opinion, a pretty hard saddle
(dont know how to describe it otherwise!) Primarily I ride on dirt tracks in
forrests and normal roads. Usually I would ride around 50 K's in about 2
hours and would normally do it around two times a week.

My problem is simply that I get more tired in my butt than I do in my legs,
which kind of holds me back of riding longer rides and it often even reduces
    the fun.

So, my question is: What kind of saddle should I go for, and specifically,
should I prefer to buy a more comfortable saddle?

I would appreciate your answer or suggestion very much! Thanks a lot!

    Best regards

You do not want a cushy comfortable saddle, that will make it worse. Are
you wearing padded shorts and no underwear? Anything else will contribute to
    sore butt.
You may want to try an men's anatomical saddle, or different width saddles,
    but dont' go for padded.

Every butt is different, so it's difficult to say what's going to work
for who. People seem to swear by two: the Flite and the Titec
    Berserker.

I got lucky with the Fi'zik Nisene saddle. It's very firm, and took some
getting used to, but once I got the angle just right, it felt like it was
    made for me.

Keep the saddle, replace the seatpost with a ThudBuster.

Everything may be fine and it will just take a little while to get used to
riding. If you are convinced that something besides your ability to ride
for two hours at a time is at fault start with bike fit. Make sure your
saddle isn't too high (a likely culprit if you have any abrasions), is level
and that you have a comfortable reach to the bar. If you search, you can
find a million articles on bike fit, but sheldon brown does a really nice
    job.

Be sure and stand on occasion when you ride. No one makes a saddle you can
sit on for two hours straight and enjoy.

If it is the saddle, unfortunately, it is trial and error.

    Hey Penny!

Thanks for your suggestions. I am wearing padded shorts with no underwear.
However, I found that the padding on the tights goes from the butt all the
way to the front. This is quite annoying for my bits, and I am now looking
for tights that do only cover the butt, where I actually sit. Take care!

    Hey Scott!

    Thanks for your answer!

I had a look at the saddles from Titec you mentioned. There seems to be a
few different models: XC, comfort etc. Would you know which one to choose?
    Thanks mate!
