  1. Hi all,

Well.. my bf is constupated and im have the runs. So we invested in
some husk since it helps for both but da.. its disgusting. Its slimey
and even in tons of water i find it hard to get down. The other
alternatives for eating it is with youghurt og juice but since neither
is allowed i was wondering if anybody here had a different way of
eating it that is more "pleasing"?

Assuming you are talking about psyllium seek husks, they can be purchased in
    capsule form.

  3. Take a teaspoon of psyllium husk powder, 1/2 teaspoon Splenda and mix in 8
oz of water gradually so you get it well mixed. Then get RealLemon in the
green bottle--lemon juice concentrate, zero carbs. Add about 1/2 to 1
    teaspoon and it's like lemonade.

  4. Sounds good, but the lemon juice isn't zero carbs. 1/2 teaspoon is 0.15g
carb and a teaspoon would be 0.3g. I know it's not much, but if you use
larger quantities for say cooking, I wanted to warn you. :-)

  5. Just take 2 calcium with magnesium pills per day and you will be regular!

Please elaborate on how this works.

  7. Thanks, Bev. I usually round down ; ) And the concentrate is so potent, who
    can cook with too much.

  8. Real Lemon bottled juice isn't concentrated. It takes 3 tablespoons to
equal the juice of one lemon. So if your recipe calls for the juice of a
lemon, you've added 1g carb. Again I know it's not much, but worth being
    aware of.
